Emotional eating is a blessing

by

Hi, gorgeous.

You may think I’m crazy for saying this, especially if you’ve been struggling for a while with it.

But here’s what I think…

Emotional eating is actually a good thing.
It’s a sign that something is NOT working.
It’s like an alarm bell.
It’s a blessing.

That bowl of pasta or the chocolate bar that you want to scarve down your throat even though you’re not really that hungry…

It is just a sign that there is something going on that needs your attention.

So, yeah. I’m here telling you to be grateful for this problem of yours.
It’s showing the way to a something much bigger.

It’s giving you nudges.
It will help you change.

Because if you won’t change anything, you’ll continue to eat emotionally.
You’ll continue to be at war with food.
And you’ll continue to be miserable.

Some people just go through life and repress all these emotions completely. Somewhere deep, deep inside of them. They feel helpless and just miserable.
They don’t have something as big as emotional eating to help them get out of the turmoil. They don’t really even realize they have a problem. So they never do anything about it.
With emotional eating, you are repressing the emotions too to some extent, but at the same time, you are feeling them as hard as you can.
Because we all know what happens after a binge, right? You feel it badly not only on a physical level but mostly on an emotional level.

And then you decide it’s time for a change.

And this is something to be grateful for.

So stop judging it. Stop calling it a problem.

It’s just a great reminder. Nothing more than that.

Remember – You are absolute magic, dear.
You can be, do, and have whatever you want in life.
It’s your time. And you are ready.

Tiasha xx
